An accident on Highway 75 north of Topeka sent a teenager and another man to the hospital.

It happened around 7:30 am Wednesday at the intersection of Highway 75 and 110th Road, west of Hoyt. The Kansas Highway Patrol says 17-year old Auston McKinnon of Mayetta was headed east on 110th, didn't yield at the yield sign in the median and was hit by a northbound pickup.

McKinnon was flown by Lifestar to Stormont-Vail in Topeka. He was reported in satisfactory condition Wednesday night.

An ambulance took the pickup's driver, 58-year old Bradly Butler of Topeka, to Stormont as well. Information on his condition wasn't available.
