Pistol-Whipped & Carjacked At South Topeka Motel

Police are searching for two men linked to a reported pistol-whipping and carjacking at a south Topeka motel early Monday morning.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Police are searching for two men linked to a reported pistol-whipping and carjacking at a south Topeka motel early Monday morning.

Officers responded to the Traveler's Inn, 3846 SW Topeka Blvd., shortly after 7:00 a.m., according to the Topeka Police Dept. There, the victim told them she was attacked by two men and her crossover was stolen.

The men reportedly took her maroon 2004 Chrysler Pacifica with Kansas plates 406 GGZ.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 785-368-9400 or CrimeStoppers at 785-234-0007.
