TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- Two Topeka girls battling cancer never thought helping others would taste so sweet.
6-year-old Berkeley Kemper and 7-year-old Karis Selk both suffer from cancer. They set up a cupcake stand Saturday inside the Topeka HyVee to help raise money for not only themselves and others.
For the past 9 months, Berkeley has been battling Acute Lympho Lekeumia.
Karis is in remission after being diagnosed with a form of brain cancer when she was just 5-years-old.
Saturday, grocery shoppers and complete strangers donated money in exchange for a cupcake to help raise money for the girls' and other children who suffer from cancer.
Make sure to head out to their cupcake stand inside the Topeka HyVee on Sunday. They will have it set up again from Noon until 4 p.m.
