WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- Three people are dead after a head on collision in Sedgewick County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 16 year old Dominic Stolfi, of Benton, was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer and going westbound in the eastbound lanes of K- 254 near the Sedgwick and Butler County lines around 6 a.m. when it struck a black Buick Lucerne.
The driver of the Buick, 27 year old Lisa Hardy and 57 year old passenger Nancy Ross, both of Potwin, died in the collision along with Stolfi.
A Kansas Highway Patrol spokesman says emergency dispatchers received multiple calls of the wrong way driver and a few minutes later another call reported the crash.
