EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Topeka Police said Friday morning a 19-year-old woman reported missing from Lyon County is safe.

Alana Snyder reported herself to the Topeka Police Department, telling the officers she was fine and not missing.

An Emporia family reported Snyder missing to the Lyon Co. Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, after they said they hadn't seen her for days.

Her aunt Amy Walls told the Emporia Gazette that Snyder hadn't posted to any of her social media accounts, which is unlike her.

"Someone else has her phone," Walls told the newspaper. "Because I messaged her on Facebook and got a reply from someone that said 'This isn't Alana's phone anymore, she is probably in a field sleeping with worms'."

Police have not given any further details.
