The Topeka Police Officer charged with assault in an off-duty shooting has a court hearing next week in the case.
Jason Judd is charged with two counts of aggravated battery. At a docket hearing Thursday a motions hearing was scheduled for Monday to modify Judd's bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for five days beginning December 8.
Judd is one of four officers involved in an off-duty shooting March 18.
Details of what happened are still unclear. Police were called to a home on 25th Street for loud music. Brothers Daniel and Devin Llamas were shot and critically injured. Both men survived.
The Shawnee County Sheriff's department is handling the investigation.
