Topeka police are investigating an early morning armed robbery.
It happened at about 3:15a.m. in the 1200 block of SW Polk.

Authorities report the incident took place in the middle of the street.
The suspect approached a man, showed his gun and demanded the victim's wallet, cellphone, and jewelry.

The suspect also robbed another person, this time demanding the victim's shoes. He was last seen headed northbound on foot.

He is described as a black male, about 5'6" - 5'7", with braids in his hair, as well having a nose ring and some facial hair.

humm nose ring sounds like the guy from the gas station on Topeka and those girls who got jacked. bet they have video at the gas station.
