TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Boys and Girls Club of Topeka wants you to know it is not behind candy sales a local store.
The organization says it learned people are selling candy bars at the entrance of Topeka Wal-Mart stores, saying the proceeds are for the Boys and Girls Club.
The organizations say it is not a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club in Topeka or any Boys and Girls Club in the state of Kansas. The people are not associated with the club.
If you see any sales taking place you are asked to notify Wal-Mart management, as they are also aware of the situation.
