TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Topeka Police Dept. identified the Topeka man who died Thursday after being found in the snow earlier that day as 27 year-old Stephen Vetaw.
They added that they are still waiting for an official cause of death from the coroner, but noted that there are no obvious signs of foul play.
A passerby found Vetaw lying in the snow near the intersection of 16th and Tyler in central Topeka. Emergency crews attempted CPR there before taking him to the hospital where he later died.
Police are asking anyone with information to call detectives at 368-9400 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
