TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW) One Topeka baby is less than 24 hours old but is already pretty famous!

Corbin Boos was born at 1:56 a.m. Wednesday morning, making him the first baby of the new year in the capitol city.

Corbin was seven and a half pounds and 19 3/4 inches long.

The bundle of joy was delivered at the Birth and Women's center like his two older brothers Murphy and Finnigan.

The family's cat Tess has even approved of the new addition.

"Earlier, once he realized there was a baby in the house, he was rubbing his face all over the baby and pawing at him and basically approving of the baby in general," said mom Heather.

Heather says Corbin's older brothers want him to become a millionaire when he grows up.

Not far behind, St. Francis in Topeka announced that their first birth of the year was a girl born at 3:13 a.m.

Mom and babies are all reported to be doing well.
