TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ Bill Snyder and Tom Osborne met regularly on the football field as college coaches. Now they're scheduled to be on a panel together for the Governor's Conference on Mentoring.
That event is scheduled for June 11-12 at the Hilton Airport Executive Conference Center in Wichita. The governor's office expects about 300 people to attend to discuss ways to build and improve programs that mentor children.
Osborne, the former University of Nebraska coach and congressman from that state, is scheduled to give the keynote address at 8:55 a.m. June 12.
The panel with Snyder, the former Kansas State University coach, follows Osborne's remarks. Snyder is leading a mentoring initiative
for Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.

It is wonderful to have two prominent and respected men from college football lead the way in mentoring. Lord knows young people are so in need of good role models. Thank you Coach Snyder and Osborne for the work you're doing.

Bill and Tom are great coaches and even better people. This should be great.

Bobby, you are an idiot. Players from Texas schools are always in trouble with the law. Some of those fine Texas coaches are not the best examples for young men either. You probably are a real piece of work yourself.
