The Emporia Gazette reports that in Lyon County, seven people have been close to gunfire in recent weeks when drivers fired guns from roads into areas.
Just six months ago, 18-year-old Beau Arndt was killed when a bullet shot from the road hit him. The Kansas Wildlife Officers Association is including Arndt in a video to educate hunters about safety and hunting laws.

those who fire bulletts into the timber should not be confused with hunters. There is certainly a difference between coal and a diamond. those who are so careless are not hunters. They are slobs who have no regard for the game and/or other people
