Kansas head coach Bill Self on the Darrell Arthur story that WFAA ran yesterday.

“We are aware of the allegations as described in the news story. I’m sure the high school and the school district will do a good job determining the facts. It would be premature and inappropriate for anyone to comment any further until the process in Dallas takes its course.”

Yeah G, and thats why his transcripts were confirmed by the NCAA clearinghouse prior to his enrolling at Kansas, the NCAA declared him eligible, they are the ones with the egg on their face not the University of Kansas, which is why nothing will come from this.

It's all about sports. Makes no difference if a player can't read or write, if he or she can be outstanding in their sport colleges want and pay for them. And don't tell me the college didn't know he knew nothing about math.

My gosh, I stubbed my toe back in high school, does that mean it's still bruised?

I don't think the algebra teacher looks like an idiot. I think his high school coach is the idiot for ignoring his failing grade. You teach boys to be men at home and at school. Where are the morals? Blame the coach. There must be something to this, but time will tell when they are done investigating. HOW STUPID!

why is it in this country we all love so much, that when someone wins something, the first thing we do is look for reasons why they shouldn't have the win...where is this country going? KU won the championship and it needs to be left at that....
