With the school year coming to an end it can be a time when students are faced with peer pressure and tough decisions.

Do exercises like these help raise alcohol awareness in schools?
Yes!
Perhaps, for those who pay attention.
No

Seniors at Silver Lake High School learned some invaluable lessons of drinking and driving before their end of the year celebrations begin.

Today's lesson..... Alcohol awareness. Students wore vision impaired goggles while driving golf carts and took sobriety tests as a reminder of what the consequences are of destructive decisions.

For many of these seniors it was an eye opener... that driving while impaired is not safe and is not the way to celebrate.
