Starved Dog in Valley Falls
She said neighbors heard a dog yelping in the area of the storage units. Luanne found the poor pup, skin and bones, whimpering in one of the storage units.

A starving chihuahua is being nursed back to health after spending nearly two weeks trapped in a storage shelter.
Luanne Petty owns storage in Valley Falls.
She said neighbors heard a dog yelping in the area of the storage units. Luanne found the poor pup, skin and bones, whimpering in one of the storage units.
The chihuahua is being nursed back to health at the Valley Falls humane shelter.

That is so sad! Does that dog need a home? I'd like to adopt him/her.
RESPONSE: The dog's owner was located - the family had been putting up fliers since it ran off during a storm a couple weeks ago.
