10,000 homes across the nation got repairs Saturday. From paint jobs, pipes, to windows, it's an initiative leaving it's mark on 14 homes right here in Topeka.

10,000 homes across the nation got repairs Saturday. From paint jobs, pipes, to windows, it's an initiative leaving it's mark on 14 homes right here in Topeka.
National Rebuilding Day includes over 200,000 volunteers that come together to help low income home-owners make basic yet necessary repairs that they either can't afford to do or don't know how to fix on their own.

the city of topeka has been in on national rebuilding day for the past 8 years repairing more than 125 homes at an estimated community benefit of about 400-thousand dollars.
