State law enforcement and legal personnel will be traveling to Louisiana and Mississippi to help their counterparts deal with the affects of Hurricane Katrina.
Attorney General Phill Kline said today that his office would be sending staff with training in consumer fraud to the South as the recovery efforts get under way.
And Kline said officers of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation trained in forensics would be going to help with the identification of bodies.
More details of how many people from Kansas will deploy will be announced later by Kline's office.
