Hundreds of children put their Easter skills to the test Saturday searching the grounds of the governor's mansion for thousands of eggs.

Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius hosted the traditional Governor's Easter egg hunt Saturday on the Cedar Crest lawn in Topeka.

The Easter bunny helped Governor Sebelius count down until hunt time.

Children raced across acres of egg filled fields to fill their baskets full of free candy and donated plastic eggs.
