A rally at the Statehouse features more attacks by conservative lawmakers on the Kansas Supreme Court's education ruling.
The court has ordered lawmakers to come up with another $143 million for public schools. But conservatives in the Legislature say the court doesn't have that right.
Frank Miller, a Republican House member from Independence, got a rousing ovation at today's rally, when he vowed to defy the ruling.
And Republican Lance Kinzer of Olathe says he will introduce two constitutional amendments on Wednesday. One would strip the court of its power to review school funding, and another would prevent justices from directing how state monies are spent.
But Kansas Bar Association president Rich Hayse says defying the court would set a dangerous precedent.
