TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__It is a day of celebration for one topeka girl and her family after a successful double lung transplant.
The Topeka Capital Journal reports Madison Taliaferro is finally home in Topeka.

The 12 year old has been living with cystic fibrosis and had re-located to St. Louis along with her mother when she joined the transplant list in August.
Doctors performed the transplant on November 5th and the procedure took around 10 hours.
