The decision went down to the wire, but CBS sports programmers say the Kansas City Chiefs were able to sell the rest of their tickets for thIS weekend's Oakland Raiders game. The latest edition of the heralded rivalry was on the network's list of games to be blacked out Sunday. But the deadline on ticket sales was extended to Friday because of the Thanksgiving holiday, and Chiefs fans did not disappoint.
The game is now another Arrowhead sellout (kicking off only 13 hours after the end of the Kansas-Missouri clash at the stadium). WIBW and the CBS affiliate in Kansas City would have carried the Houston-Cleveland game Sunday at noon if tickets still remained for the KC game. The Kansas City/Oakland game can now be seen at noon Sunday on WIBW-TV.
