County Attorney Switches to Libertarian Party

By  |

Anderson County Attorney Frederick Campbell has become a member of the Libertarian party because he says he's disgusted with the Republicans and the Democrats.

Campbell was re-elected in November as a Republican, although he had no opposition.

In general, Libertarians support minimal government regulation, personal responsibility, a free-market economy and a foreign policy based on non-intervention.

Campbell will serve his second term, and says the change in parties is his way of making a statement and trying to bring about change.

Anderson County is in east-central Kansas.
