Summerfiled, Kan. (WIBW) -- A boil water advisory has been issued for the city of Summerfield.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment issued the boil advisory for the city in Marshall County Thursday after a water main break that has caused the water system to lose pressure.
Summerfield Elementary was also shut down Thursday due to the water main break.
Officials say to boil water for one minute prior to drinking or food preparation, or use bottled water until further notice.
