TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ The man charged with killing Topeka teenager
Nacole Winter nearly a year ago is jailed in Shawnee County after being returned from a Missouri prison.

Christopher Dewayne Hall is expected to make his first court appearance Thursday on charges of first-degree murder and desecration of a corpse.

Hall was returned to Topeka Tuesday from a state prison in Bonne Terre, Missouri, where he was serving time for a parole violation and stealing. Shawnee County District Attorney Robert Hecht says Hall is scheduled to make a video appearance from the jail Thursday afternoon.

Winter's body was found last Dec. 14, weeks after the eighth-grader was reported missing after officials said she left Hope Street Academy Charter Middle School without permission.

For all of you who say they knew Chris, Let me said you didnt. It happened in front of all of us who thought we knew him. And I did see the apartment, before and after the police were in there. I know what the did in it and believe me I hope I never see anything like it again. Chris and his brothers destroyed alot of lives and to keep living as if nothing ever happend really floors me. How can anyone take up for such creeps and act like they are the inoccent victims here. What about Nicole and the people they were suppose to love? They didnt care. Chris did not act alone in this and the other 2 are getting off scott free. What kind of a system do we have? Wha about the victims they left behind. I see no one giving them help. All I see are them snitching on each other and our Tax dollars paying for his little games. He is not insane. So all of you who want to Pray for Chris go right ahead. You are the ones who make this a shitty world for the rest of us to live in.

I hope he burns in hell for whats hes done! I knew her for years! and anyone that could do that to her or anyone else needs to go jail!
