Atchison Sheriff John Calhoon told 13 News that Topeka Coroner Doctor Eric Mitchel completed his autopsy by mid-afternoon Friday.

Mitchel has ruled Kimmi's death to be from natural causes related to a cardiac event.

Sheriff Calhoon says they are not sure what led to the cardiac event but that Mitchel is going to have microscopic and laboratory testing done to help try to determine that.

Those test could take two to three week to be complete.

For those who have asked, the memorial's may be sent to Dishon-Maple-Chaney, 909 Central Avenue, Horton, KS 66439 c/o Taylor Kimmi Memorial Fund. I would like to give my condolences to the family. I know I don't know the family but I feel the saddness since I have 2 children and I would be devestaded if something happened to them. I was wondering if the family is setting up a fund Please let me know. Thank you.
