Middle School Student Collapses in P.E. Class, Dies
The Atchison Globe reports a middle school student died Thursday after collapsing in gym class.

The Atchison County Community School District is mourning the death of one of its students.
The Atchison Globe reports an 11-year old girl collapsed during physical education class at the district's middle school Thursday afternoon.
She was driven to Atchison Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The district cancelled all activities for Thursday evening. Counselors will be on hand at the school Friday.
Atchison County Sheriff John Calhoon told the Globe an autopsy will be performed Friday to determine why the girl died.
