WIBW-TV (Topeka, Kansas) -- Kansas Attorney General Steve Six announced Tuesday morning that capital murder charges have been filed against Adam Joseph Longoria, age 36, of Great Bend, Kansas, in the death of 14 year old Alicia Debolt.
The complaint alleges that on or about August 21st and/or August 22nd Longoria killed Alicia Debolt in the commission of or subsequent to the crime of criminal sodomy, and Longoria is being charged with capital murder. The complaint also alleges during that same time period Longoria engaged in sodomy with a child and Longoria is charged with criminal sodomy.
The Attorney General's office says these are only allegations and Longoria is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Longoria could be sentenced to death if found guilty of capital murder.
Prosecuters say they do not expect to charge anyone else in the case.

Adam Longoria is a evil being. I know this because I have had first hand dealings with this piece of $%#@!!! He manipulated this beautiful girl and took her life. I have NO doubts in my mind as he threatened to take my life several times. We also need to go after prison guards who have a stronger need for money than protecting defenseless little girls. Cell phones in prison provided by weak women!!! We also need to go after these women. You know who you are.
i have not heard one person say pray for the longoria family yes im sorry this happened to a young child but dont forget adam is a son and a brother so a family out there and they are hurting for the othere family as well as we all are all im saying is remember the lpngoria family in ypur thoughts to
Everyone needs to remember, this is the United States of America. Innocent until proven guilty. I am glad/relieved they have a suspect in custody and have presented charges related to the case. My point is that people in Great Bend need to realize that charged do not prove anything. We need to wait for solid evidence in a court of law before we conclude he did it.
