TOPEKA, Kansas - St. Francis Children's Miracle Network kicked off the Fourth Annual Country Legends 106.9 Miracle Marathon for Kids Radiothon Tuesday at West Ridge Mall. The Radiothon will run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
Sponsored by Kevin Lenahan, OD, the Radiothon is the largest fundraiser of the year for the local CMN. Since its start in 1989, St. Francis Children's Miracle Network has raised more than one million dollars to benefit children of northeast Kansas.
"We really appreciate Country Legends 106.9 and their partnership with the radiothon to raise funds for local children's medical expenses," said Kara White, St. Francis Children's Miracle Network coordinator. "The station's listeners have been very generous since the start of this event, and we hope they will tune in again this year to support families with medical needs for their children."
