MARYSVILLE, Kan. (WIBW) -- Ten cars in all went off the tracks when a freight train derailed in Marysville's Union Pacific yard early Tuesday morning, according to the Marysviille Advocate.

Fortunately, none of them were carrying any hazardous material, Marshall Co. Emergency Management Director Bill Schwinderman told the paper.

In fact, eight of the cars didn't have anything in them. Of the other two, one was hauling railroad rail, while the other carried dirt.

Schwinderman did not know what caused the derailment, but noted no one was hurt.
