TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A memorial fund is set up to help the family of a toddler who died of injuries suffered in a car wreck.

One-year-old Kylynn Gunter had suffered swelling on her brain. She was being treated at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City since being injured March 10. Her family decided to take her off life support late Wednesday afternoon.

Donations to help Kylynn's family with medical and funeral expenses can be sent to the Kylynn Gunter Memorial Fund in care of any Topeka Corefirst Bank and Trust location.

A Facebook page was set up asking people to leave their porch lights on in honor of the little girl. Click here for the page

Kylynn was injured in a wreck in the 3600 block of NW Rochester Rd. that also claimed the life of 33-year-old Brian Lee Riley. Her brother, 12 year-old Loren Gunter, was in the car as well and was less seriously hurt.

Authorities said Riley was behind the wheel when his Honda Accord left the roadway, struck a driveway culvert in the east ditch and rolled over. A deputy arrived moments later and found two children inside the crashed vehicle and performed CPR on a one-year old girl.

Sheriff's officials believe Riley was heading to the home of the children's mother, Kristen Massey's, after leaving a business in north Topeka.
