TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- The Shawnee County Sheriff's office released results from a DUI checkpoint last night.
The results are as follows
-1 person tested for DUI
-13 traffic stops
-7 warning tickets issued
-3 notice to appears issued
-1 arrested for revoked and misdemeanor warrant
The Shawnee County Sheriff's office says the goal is to reduce the number and severity of traffic accidents. The checkpoint is funded by the state.
