MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police say a Manhattan woman was approached by a masked man and robbed at gunpoint near her home late Tuesday.
The robbery took place in the 900 block of Laramie Street in the south alley just after 10 PM on October 2nd.
The 22-year-old victim told police that she had just gotten out of her car when she was approached by a man wearing a mask and a black hooded sweatshirt. She says the suspect pulled out a handgun gun and stole her cell phone then left the area.
The woman was not injured.
The incident remains under investigation by the Riley County Police Department.
