Woman Gives Out False Name Following Police Chase

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Authorities say a woman arrested following a chase, gave them a false name.

The woman was initially identified as Amanda Rose Keaton. Authorities say she's really Brandy Kay Shoemaker.

She was booked into jail for possession of methamphetamine.

Officers attempted to pull over a Chevy Suburban Thursday morning but the driver, identified as John holt, fled.

The chase led into Jackson County, and stopped at 150th and highway 75.

Holt was arrested for auto theft and fleeing and eluding.
