Woman Connected To January Murder Back In Jail

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - More troubles for a Topeka woman connected to a January murder in Mayetta.

Many Signals Communications reports Desiree Shopteese has been sentenced to 60 days in Jackson County Jail for violating her probation.

Violations included failing a drug test and failing to appear for required addiction treatment.

Shopteese was on probation for an obstruction charge connected to the January shooting death of Kevin Stanley.
