Wichita Man Pleads Guilty In Bizarre Crime Spree


WICHITA, Kan (KAKE)-- A Wichita man has pleaded guilty for his role in a bizarre crime spree.

Bunice Howard Jr., 27, pleaded guilty today to aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, attempted robbery, endangering a child, theft and two counts of criminal trespass.

The March, 2014 spree started at 11th & Volutisa when Howard tried to steal a car with a woman and her two year old daughter inside. As Howard and the woman struggled the car struck a house. Howard and the woman were injured in the crash.

Police also accused Howard of stealing another vehicle prior to the crash and breaking into a house.

Howard is scheduled to be sentenced September 18th.
