Wanted Registered Offender Found

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Crime Stoppers say the wanted offender they asked for assistance in locating Wednesday has been found.

Topeka Police say 41-year old Dion Martinez was taken into custody Wednesday night by a patrol officer, assisted by bicycle officers.

Crime Stoppers said Wednesday he was wanted for not properly registering with authorities.

Police say he was taken into custody at the same location listed as his last registered address.

Martinez was free Thursday on bond.
