MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police are searching for two men who robbed a worker at a Manhattan hotel at gunpoint.
Officers were dispatched to the America’s Best Value Inn on Tuttle Creek Boulevard around 12:30 AM Monday, August 13, 2012.
When they arrived, officers made contact with the front desk clerk, a 31-year-old woman, who said she was robbed by two men who were both armed with handguns.
According to police, an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the business during the robbery.
Officials say the gunmen came in and demanded cash from the clerk. She was not injured during the hold-up.
A department spokesman said the suspects had their faces covered with "clothing" to conceal their identities. A detailed description was not available. Surveillance footage has not been released.
