Two Accused Of Aiding Murder Suspects Enter Pleas

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Two people accused of aiding a pair of murder suspects escape prosecution entered pleas Friday.

Aaron Lofton and Rachel Hudson are charged with two counts of obstructing prosecution of Lloyd Wabaunsee and Desiree Shopteese.

Jackson County Prosecutor Shawna Miller told WIBW-TV Friday afternoon that Hudson pleaded guilty to "aiding a felon". He will be sentenced March 29.

Lofton pleaded not guilty and has a jury trial scheduled for May 22.

Lloyd Wabaunsee, Desiree Shopteese, and Steven Eastman -- the driver -- all have a preliminary hearing on April 24.
