TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for fleeing police and killing a man in a crash that resulted.
Kody Godfrey, 34, was sentenced to life in prison today for felony first degree murder.
Jordon Dodgen, 23, was killed when his vehicle was hit by Godfrey's on November 5.
Godfrey will likely serve his sentence at the Larned State Security Hospital.
