TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man arrested in connection with a May 19 shooting in Lawrence faces federal charges.
29-year-old Steven Gigger is charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, unlawful possession of ammunition, and unlawful possession of a firearm with the serial number obliterated.
Gigger was arrested following a disturbance at Club Magic on 24th Street that led police to discover a shooting victim in the 800 block of Greever Terrace.
He faces 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count if convicted.
