TOPEKA. Kan. (WIBW) -- Topeka Police are investigating a shooting that they say injured two people in the Capital City.
Police say it happened around 6:30 Monday night. Police were on the scene Monday evening at 1844 SW Burnett, where they had crime scene tape surrounding the house.
Officials say two people were shot. Police say an altercation ensued at the crime scene. Police say a silver car fled the scene. They say they may have located that vehicle.
Anthony Herrera, 22, Damisha Williams, 22, sustained non life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking for the suspect, a black man, 6 feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds, wearing a white shirt and black pants.
Officials say the victims took themselves to area hospitals after the incident.
