Three Arrested In Junction City Drug Probe

Three people are facing drug charges in Junction City after officers raided a trailer in a local mobile home park and a hotel room. Officials say the investigation spanned several months.

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (WIBW) -- Three people are facing drug charges in Junction City after officers raided a trailer in a local mobile home park and a hotel room. Officials say the investigation spanned several months.

On July 20, 2012, the Junction City-Geary County Drug Operations Group assisted by Junction City-Geary County SWAT, executed search warrants at 920 E. 4th St. Lot #5 and the Super 8 Motel, 1101 E. 6th St. room 228, in Junction City. The search warrant was obtained after a 7 month long investigation by the Drug Operations Group into suspected drug activity at the residence and motel.

The following suspects were arrested:

Alfred A. Wilson, age 24 of Junction City. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a School, Acquisition of Drug Proceeds, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.

Sharon D. Littleton, age 44 of Junction City. She was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a School, Acquisition of Drug Proceeds, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.

Deonerick M. Friend, age 23 of Junction City. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana.

Bond was set at $2500 for Friend while Wilson and Littleton were confined at the Geary County Detention Center pending first appearances.

The Drug Operations Group seized marijuana, U.S currency, drug paraphernalia, and a 2000 Buick Park Avenue.

The Junction City-Geary County Drug Operations Group is a joint task force composed of members of the Junction City Police Department, Geary County Sheriff’s Department, and Grandview Plaza Police Department.
