TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Two Topeka teenagers are behind bars following an attempted burglary Monday afternoon.

Police responded to a home in the 1700 block of SW Clearview Lane just before 3:30 pm

They say they found two young men, who they identify as 17-year-old Dalton Dyer and 18-year-old Kelvin Fitzpatrick inside the home.

Fitzpatrick was booked into the Shawnee County Jail. Dyer was booked into the Juvenile Department of Corrections.

Both are being held for burglary, criminal damage to property and theft.
