TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka Police are looking for the driver of a pickup that hit a teen outside Topeka High School then took off.
The 15-year-old boy was crossing tenth street outside the school just after noon Friday when the truck pulled out and struck him.
His mother tells 13 News the teen was treated at the hospital for injuries to his hip and knee and released.
She says he described the truck as a mid- to late- 80s model, lighter colored with rust. She says he described the driver as a white man with gray hair, possibly in his 50s or 60s.
