TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Shawnee County Sheriff's deputies searched an Auburn home Friday and took a 19-year-old man into custody on drug charges.

Shawnee County Undersheriff Terry Maple told 13 News the Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit received intelligence regarding a home at 761 N. Porter in Auburn and took a search warrant to the residence.

Maple says officers took 19-year-old Jacob Sanders into custody after finding marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $1,300 in cash.

Court records indicate just last month Sanders had been given a diversion agreement on drug charges filed in a complaint last October.
