Suspected Rolling Mobile Meth Lab Stopped In Wichita


WICHITA, Kan (KAKE) -- A man was arrested in Wichita early Thursday after Kansas Highway Patrol troopers stopped him for driving an apparent mobile meth lab.

911 dispatchers received calls of an erratic driver on Kansas Highway 96 after 8:00 a.m. Troopers pulled the truck over on Ohio Street between 1st & 2nd.

When troopers walked up to the truck they saw materials they believed were used to make methamphetamine. The Wichita bomb squad was called to clear the truck. Ohio Street between 1st & 2nd has been closed for several hours.

The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
