TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A teen accused of plotting an attack at his high school will undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Shawnee Co. District Court Judge Joseph Johnson ordered the exam for Brendan Moore during a hearing Monday in juvenile court. Prosecutors say the judge will use the information in weighing their request to have Moore tried as an adult.
Moore was charged January 15, 2014 with four counts of solicitation to commit first degree murder. He is accused of planning to kill two school administrators, one USD 501 resource officer and one Topeka Police Officer at Topeka West.
