JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Junction City man is now facing charges in connection with a home invasion that took place nearly two years ago.
Angelo Litsey, 23, was arrested Thursday on a Geary County District Court warrant for Aggravated Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Kidnapping stemming from a February 2011 case.
Officials say he was in court Thursday on another matter when he was arrested.
Another suspect in the home invasion, Anthony Barajas, led police to Litsey. According to investigators, Barajas was arrested in April 2011 for the crime and as part of his plea agreement; Barajas cooperated with authorities and told them that Litsey was the other person involved in the home invasion.
Officials say the men were armed when they burst into a Junction City residence and took money and property from those inside the home. No injuries were reported.
The kidnapping charge stems from the victims being moved from one part of the house to another against their will, police said.
It is not believed that the home invasion was random. Officials say that one of the men involved in the attack knew one of the victims.
