Crime Stoppers received tips from the community which led to the identification of Jewon Martell Jackson, 24, from Topeka.
Topeka Police quickly located Jackson and took him into custody without incident on September 18th. He was booked into the Department of Corrections for Robbery. Crime Stoppers, local media partners and the community were instrumental in the arrest of this individual, according to police.

TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- Police are on the hunt for a knife-wielding man who robbed a Topeka Kwik Shop this morning, and a second man, and an accomplice.
Authorities say the robbery happened at the gas station at 1700 SW Topeka Blvd. at about 3 a.m.
Shawnee County Dispatch told 13 News the robber was armed with a knife.
Lt. John Sturgeon of the Topeka Police Department said the robber came into the store with a knife, jumped the counter, stole cash and then ran away from the business.
Police describe the suspect as a black male with a skinny build with a mustache, standing 5'8".
They say the suspect was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.
Upon review of surveillance video, police saw the suspect arrive to and flee from the scene on a BMX style bicycle with another black male subject dressed in all black on a mountain style bicycle. The second individual watched the robbery through the window and awaited the primary suspect to accompany him before leaving. Both left in a SE direction.
No injuries were reported.
