Rape Of Teen Investigated In Manhattan
MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County investigators are looking into the rape of an 18-year-old woman in Manhattan.
Officials say the alleged sexual assault was reported to the Riley County Police Department at 8:35 PM on Friday, August 31, 2012.
According to police, the rape occurred in the south central portion of Manhattan but no other details are being released.
The case is being actively investigated, a department spokesman said Tuesday.
